Privacy Policy
Convertly is an iPhone app published by TNPixel ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information Convertly uses and what it does not. The short version: your photos are processed on your iPhone and never uploaded to us or anyone else. Convertly has no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and it does not require an account.
What stays on your device
- Your photos and files: when you choose photos or files, Convertly reads them on your device to convert, resize, compress or edit them. Copies are kept in the app's temporary storage only while you use them and are removed afterwards by iOS. We do not receive them and cannot see them.
- Converted files are saved only where you choose: your photo library, the Files app, or another app through the share sheet.
- Your settings, presets, watermark logo and conversion history (counts, formats and file sizes, not the photos) are stored on your iPhone.
Features that use iOS permissions
- Photos: you choose photos with the system photo picker, which does not give Convertly access to your whole library. When you tap Save to Photos, iOS asks for permission to add photos. Convertly never reads your library.
- Files: files you pick or save with the system Files picker are handled on your device.
- Metadata: Convertly can show and remove the location, camera and date stored inside a photo. This is done on the device. It can also write an author and copyright notice that you type.
- Shortcuts: if you use the Convert Images action in Shortcuts, the images you pass are converted on your device and returned to Shortcuts.
Purchases and subscriptions
Payments are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat, a service provider, to manage Premium subscriptions and purchases. To do this, RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user identifier, your purchase and subscription status, and basic technical information such as app version, device model, operating system and country, as described in RevenueCat's privacy policy. We do not receive your name, email address, or payment details. This information is used only to provide and restore your purchases.
What we do not do
- We do not upload your photos or files.
- We do not show ads and we do not sell or share your data for advertising.
- We do not use analytics or tracking SDKs, and we do not track you across other companies' apps and websites.
Children
Convertly is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices and deleting your data
- Settings, History, Clear history removes the conversion history. Deleting the app removes everything stored by Convertly on your iPhone.
- You can turn off the permission to add photos in iPhone Settings; the rest of the app keeps working.
- Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings (Settings, your name, Subscriptions).
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date above. Material changes will also be noted in the app or its App Store page.
